Charge multiplication offers the opportunity to move seamlessly between normal CCD illumination levels and the ability to multiply individual photons by a thousand. The sensor is cooled to -40℃ and we have integrated the EM gain into our auto exposure algorithm. This sensor is ideal for florescent imaging, biometrics or surveillance.
